Want to Go to Essex, Leamington, or Kingsville? You Can Now Take the Bus!

On Monday, July 8th, Leamington Mayor Hilda MacDonald announced the launch of LTW Transit at St. Clair College press conference. The bus stops are St. Clair College, Essex Center Sports complex, Kingsville Arena Complex, and Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex. The bus runs three times a day during the week and twice a day on Saturday. MacDonald was excited about the new project, especially because it is very convenient for employees and workers who miss working opportunities in Leamington because they do not own cars.

The Municipality of Leamington wrote on its official website: “The Municipality of Leamington is proud to offer a new inter-community transit system from Leamington to Windsor with stops in Kingsville and Essex, beginning July 8, 2019.”

The cost of a one-way trip is $10. If you are willing to return during the same day, the round-trip costs $15. If visiting one of these areas is a casual thing, you can issue a monthly pass for $250. Children 12 and under can ride for free with their accompanying adults.
